Shabbat Services

Shabbat Services are held weekly.
                Services including a full leyning of the parsha last roughly two hours.
Location: Jewish Federation of Greater Santa Barbara
                524 Chapala Street
                Santa Barbara, CA

Time:       10 AM
We encourage you to join us. Please let us know you will be attending by Thursday evening weekly. Click here.
If you have a yahrzeit we will have one “El male rachamim” for men and one for women, recited by the chazan or leader. Each mourner will be given the opportunity to say the person’s name at the appropriate time.

Kiddush:
Kiddush is served weekly and is hosted by members of our congregation. Weather permitting, Kiddush will be served in the outdoor atrium.  ​
    
COVID -19 Safety Protocols
The Mesa Shul of Santa Barbara is adhering to the CDC and Jewish Federation protocols:
  • Masks are optional. Each attendee can make their own choice.
  • MSSB will follow the following protocols for davening:  
    • Weather permitting, we will have the sliding doors open to the atrium allowing for those who feel more comfortable sitting inside or outside to have the option.  
    • Aliyot may be taken from where you are sitting or Aliyot may be taken at the Torah. Each congregant can choose.
  • Anyone who is feeling ill should please stay home and please not come to Shul. (Refuah Shlemah)

Friday Night Dinners: DATE TBA
Kabbalat Shabbat 6:30PM followed by Dinner at 7:30PM.
Catered by Sababa Catering.
No charge to attend but reservations are required.
